I love making my Christmas list each year, it really gets me excited for the big day and gets me in the mood for my own Christmas shopping. I like gifts that have a festive feel to them and there are some gifts that it is pretty much mandatory to get at Christmas too, like a new calendar for the year ahead and some snuggly pyjamas. This Mickey & Minnie calendar features super cute pictures of Disney's famous cartoon couple and has a His & Hers design to help keep our plans organised.

I adore lounge pants in checked and and tartan prints, they are perfect all year round with a matching long-sleeved top in Winter and or a vest when it starts to warm up again. Matching slippers are also a 'must' and these ballet pump style slippers from Primark with faux-fur lining are easy to slip on and off and can even be worn in bed (Harry hates my ice cold feet, so these are a relationship saver!). I've also added this festive print onesie from Tesco for when it gets very chilly outside!
My favourite Christmas tipple has to be Baileys Irish Cream liqueur served over ice or added to a creamy hot chocolate, for an extra chocolatey treat this year I browsed Whittard of Chelsea's luxury hot chocolate collection and found this indulgent Rocky Road flavour. Of course curling up on Christmas night would not be complete without a snuggly blanket or throw, Primark have a huge selection this year but I particularly like the look of the fluffy snowflake design.
This year has been great for new artists, so much so that the albums of three new male singers have made it on to my wishlist as well as the latest album from my old favourites - Maroon 5. Sam Smith, George Ezra and John Newman each have incredibly unique voices and after listening to the samples of their albums I was left really impressed.
Two other people that have made an impression on me this year are Mindy Kaling and Jamie Oliver. I fell in love with Mindy's humour on her show 'The Mindy Project' and she seems like the coolest, most down-to-Earth woman, so of course when I saw that she had a book out I knew I had to have it right away! Since moving out I've also gotten into cooking from scratch and have watched almost all of Jamie Oliver's tv series for tips and inspiration, his book Saving with Jamie offers those of us on a budget recipes, meal-plans and tips for cooking the best meals we can.
The last thing on my list is a little treat for me because I've been after a watch for quite awhile. This one from New Look has a chunky grey strap with a gold finish around the watch itself. I love the style of watch face and the three inner dials showing the date. It looks great for the price and neutral enough to go with most outfits.
So that concludes today's Christmas wishlist post, make sure to check back on Friday when I'll be sharing the second part of my wishlist which focuses solely on beauty products! I hope I've given you some ideas if you're struggling on what to ask for or even what to buy another lady in your life, let me know what your asking Father Christmas for in the comments!
